And from the looks of things around here...

It was -15 yesterday, the rivers are froze solid, the lakes have up to 50" of ice.... I am envious... this has been the coldest March on record... I guess when Al Gore invented global warming (right after the internet), he overlooked Alaska????

Spring is coming, in another 6 weeks or so.......

Spotted some stoneflies around here in Maine the other day as well. It is about time. The wait for the warm weather has had me in a frenzy. I have a outing planned with a good friend over the first week of April, and I don't want to pitch a tent on top of snow. Weatherman says that it will be close to 50 degrees over the next few days with a warm rain tomorrow. Looking good to me. YE-HA.

I've always loved the rain....for some reason It suits my mood.
Ice out on the RED, shrinking snow patches, geese high overhead....now for rain and casting practice.

Great to see that some one else get excited enough about spring to stutter when they write too. Just got some flies back from a swap and if no rain today at lunch will try a pond here.
