Imagine it's not the middle of March, but it's the day of the Summer Solstice. (This year, 21 June, 18:06 GMT .) The gentle warmth and mayfly hatch is gone, the kids are playing in the sprinklers, you're hitting the river or lake to escape the heat, spring flower are gone, sunflowers are up, corn is knee-high and growing fast. It's a hot day, and you're wondering what to take to the water for some Summer fishing. What two flies are you going to put in your fly box? Just two of your favorites for June fishing...

This is open to 14 swappers. The 2 fly patterns can be anything that you use on or around Summer solstice. The usual swap items apply: Self addressed stamped envelope with a sturdy container; flies with toe tags, etc. You'll be getting 28 flies back (2 patterns, 14 each), so maybe one of your medium or large containers will work. This way, you'll have a full variety of flies to play with until Summer Solstice when the heat returns...

The deadline to be in is around the first week of June. My goal is to have them on your doorstep on or before 21 June so we can all deal with Summer heat in style.
