    looking for 8ft6in or 9 ft 4 wt, anybody have experience with the echo rods?

    I have a 3wt Echo. It is a great rod. Medium fast action, easy to cast (hey, it's a Rajeff product). For a 4wt, they don't have an 8'6" any more, just a 8' and 9' in 4 wt. If you fish small streams, go with the 8' model. If your streams are pretty large, the 9' will fit them best.
