I was able to make it to Roscoe yesterday, to get in one day at the Fish In anyway. Pretty nice day, very nice people.
I was fortunate enough to be one of the students in the casting class run by Ray DuBois. Great class. Ray teaches things a bit differently than I had been taught, so at first I had some problems. Eventually however, I caught on, and started casting better than my usual. I think that with more practice I may see a lot more improvement. Ray's method is logical, simple, and easy to remember. He is always encouraging even when one is not doing very well. It was a most instructive and enjoyable class. Thanks Ray.
Fished a bit on the upper Willowemoc, and caught a couple small ones on a size 16 PT nymph dropped off a Chernobyl ant. Then, guilt set in and I headed home to attend my 8 yo daughter's dance recital. (I'm not a big fan of dance recitals.)
All in all, a great day.

Bob
