In doing lawn casting recently I switched from a Sage Z-Axis to a Sage SLT.

With the Z my forward casts were better than my backcasts [despite the consensus that forward casts reflect the backcast].

On switching to the SLT...immediately the backcast improved but it was hard to match the quality of the previous forward casts.

This seems weird to me...does anyone have an explanation?...could it be a spline thing?

Even though they do represent different actions...shouldn't "operator error" be the same?

If the backcast improves shouldn't the forward at least stay the same as before????
