In Part Two of the Maine GOTC CFR AUCTION there are four items for you to bid on and donate to Casting For Recovery. When you bid you are supporting a group of women that brings joy to many lives. You may even know a survivor or someone with Breast Cancer that may benefit from a weekend at one of CFR?s Retreats. To learn more about Casting For Recovery visit them here at http://www.castingforrecovery.org

You will be able to bid until Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 8 PM EDT. I'll log them in as received and the time of arrival dictates a winning bid if there are two high bids of the same value for any specific item. If you wish to send me a proxy bid (to be held confidential) to use on your behalf at the live auction, please do so. The high bid received here prior to the cut-off will be where the live auction begins. If no higher bids are received your bid will win the item and it will be shipped to you within two business days of the receipt of your payment. A small shipping fee of $10.00 will be added to your total bid.

Send your bids to flyfishes@gmail.com and please put CFR Auction as the subject matter.

So please bid and bid high.

Item MCFR006

Still Available is a very limited item of Major League baseball history, it is more than just memorabilia. It is the actual press-plate used to print the front page of the New York Times Sports Section of Thursday, October 28, 1999.

This press-plate measures 16' X 24" and has been professionally matted and framed (See photo). This unique press-plate will be the centerpiece of any collection of baseball items, but what a perfect item for a lifetime fan and collector of New York Yankee memorabilia. There are only a very few of these in existence ? and you could have it to hang on your wall. More than being the "first guy on the block to have one", you?d be one of the few in the world to have one.

What a special piece of baseball history this New York Times press-plate represents!

Starting bid is $600.00
