When I saw it was a TIGER....
I wasn't paying attention to the edge of the water.
The edge disappeared...
the huge snow drift crumbled under my feet.

Not knowing anything about Tiger Trout, are these stocked fish ?
Since you said they are rare, it leads me to believe they are wild.

I've got to say that one is among the prettiest that I've seen in photos.

they are NOT stockers
The water quality and temperatures have gotten so much better in the last 5 years...that we have a brook trout RE-BIRTH and the male brookies are wandering into the brown's spawning areas.
TIGERS are the Mules of the trout wold.
One has 80 chromozones and other has 84....so they are sterile.
