BF? Our Chat runs on Microsoft browsers, all Windows applications, Netscape, Firefox, Opera etc....it is not a 'special' program. If you can't get in, you might check the security settings on your browser.

You might need to reinstal a JAVA flash player.

Hi i just downloaded Java & have checked my IE setting are set to LOW to allow all thirdy party cookies, and Java has been verified thru the Sun Java web site

On my system, the Java needed to run Flashchat is a plug-in for the Firefox browser, NOT a program that is installed by the operating system.....the browser installs it, not the OS in other words. Maybe that will help you -- it certainly does work fine with Firefox on any O/S, and Firefox is a wise choice of browser anyway.

I had big troubles on Linux when we first switched to the new chat software here....'cannot find plug in to run this program' -- but last week the right plug-in update just suddenly appeared. That's kinda how Linux goes--wait a few months and eventually everything will be compatible!

And now I can keep the Linux laptop on my tying desk and chat whilst I tie!
