I was just thinking about this place today. We went pre-children and had such a great time. You have to take logging roads to even get to it. All of the cabins are hand-built by the owners and have gas lanterns and pot belly stoves - no electricity. The main lodge is wired and they do all the cooking. A typical breakfast is pancakes made with blueberries that they pick that morning. It is so beautiful there. They have guides and a float plane if you want to go all-out. Some in our group brought kids and the owners had babysitters for them. The ice is cut from the lake in winter and stored in hay in the ice shed. It's just great. I highly reccomend it. The fishing was fun but not so hot due to severely low waters. I think it's normally really good. We fished for trout but I think you can also fish salmon by floatplane trip - can't remember. Anyway, just daydreaming......
