The Fly of the Week features a spinner. Folks need to be aware that in some states spinners on flies are not allowed on FFO waters. Before using them check you state regulations and the definition of "fly fishing".

For those of us unrestricted to these artifacts, does anyone know where size 0 or size 0/0 spinners may be bought in small quantities to make such flies? The article apparently points to a wholesaler or distributor, where a small order might be more of a bother than a sale.

Try BassPro Shops, Cabela's, or Jann's Netcraft they all sell the blades in smaller quantities. Make sure to get some small barrel swivels too, those flies have a tendency to twist the leader.
