I got about 8-9 days in, but a storm is due here later today. It's getting cold and I smell snow in the air.

Time to clean the reel.

I fished in a snow storm 3 of the 5 days fish did not seem to mind a bit only had ice in the guides 1 day.

Won't work here. The lake freezes, but not thick enough to walk on, and they close the trails to the streams.

this one is fed by a warm spring stays mostly open all winter we float tube it whenit warms up and use a drift boat in the winter

Sounds very tempting Rich - how about coming over for the Central WA Fish-In? That's the pot-hole lakes and Rocky Ford Creek.
