Another Shop Going, Going, Gone

Next month would have been the 25th Anniversary Sale for the Morning Hatch Fly Shop in Tacoma. Instead, this full service shop is having a clearance sale and is going out of business by the end of March.

The reasons are all too clear, people shop and ask questions about gear, flies, etc, at the shop, then buy on the internet to get lower prices and escape the 8 percent plus sales tax.

Good bunch of guys, great shop, gonna be gone. There goes my reason for going to Tacoma.

Very sorry to hear Ron, we have known Gary for many years. If anyone could make it go, he could. I wish him the best. He has been an asset to our recreation.

I hate to see all these folks disappearing.....I hope, at least, for some of them they have had a good life and enjoyed their business and have decided they had other things to do.
