Hello, I'll be in Orlando in early June (2007). What are the fly-fishing opportunities in the area? Also, is there a guide service that would pick me up at Disneyworld and bring me back to where we are staying? Thank you, RR

Rusty Rat,
I have only heard good things about this fly shop.

If I'm not mistaken you can fish at Disney. Seriously.
Thanks eponymous, I've been reading about Bass Lakes near Mickeyland. I would like to try redfish, snook, tarpon if possible. Thanks again for your response. RR
Orlando is in the middle of the state. Not sure you'll find those species - even with the magic of Disney. You'll need to hit the coast.
Maybe they'll let you try it in the dinosaur exhibit in the Animal Kingdom. An animatronic plesiosaur would be great on the fly.Originally Posted by eponymous
