Let?s have some fun. The Essentials of Fly Casting from FFF says a tailing loop is formed by a concave rod tip path. I wasn?t aware this was even geometrically possible. Any time I flip an open back loop and try to recover by applying forward force to the line too soon and hard, I get a new pierced earring. This is especially true if I finish wimpy instead of smart. I don?t suppose anyone has any opinions. *G*
