My "runestone runners" are en route! This is a streamer I first tied here for an NFL swap, which I'm calling a Viking Streamer ? using the colors of the Minnesota Vikings. Size 6 streamer hook, black 6/0 thread, gold tensile wrap on shank, then the following bucktail sandwich: yellow over purple over black Cyrstal Flash over white. This is a sparse streamer. When it works the purple and flash give this a beautiful lateral line effect, and just enough of the white under and yellow over to give it a neat minnow look. It would probably work better with chartruse rather than yellow, but the only green in the Metrodome is the money going out and that in the plastic grass. Oh, this could also be a pattern that would work well tied Clouser style. JGW
