Default What are some of the classic fly patterns of Europe?

I was wondering what are some of the classic fly patterns that have stood the test of time in Europe?

You might check out Donald Nicolson's web site. He's an FAOL'er from Scotland. Lot's of great flies and info there. www.dtnicolson.dial.pipex.com

Happiness is wading boots that never have a chance to dry out.

I have just done a major re-furbish, I had not realised a lot of pages were blank. The missing info should now be there.

Most still produce results with the Bibio and Kate McLaren with a lime tail always in the box. Black Gnats also do well along with the traditional spiders,(peacock and black).

REE thanks for the link. The site is great!

Donald, I really like your website. Ever since I saw my first spider fly pattern I have been intrigued. Nice of you to share this with the world.
