    Default What wt ?

    Hey,
I have an old Zebeco Sea Breezs fly rod with no markings on the rod as to what wt the thing is. The rod is eight and a half feet long. I was planning on getting a new fly line for the upcomming alantic salmon season and was wondering if anyone out there has the same rod and could give me some information on it.

    Thanks in advance,
    Salmon man

    Salmon Man,
My "extensive" experience onaccounta age leads me to conclude that, without even seeing the rod, back a few years ago most unmarked rods were in the range of 5 t0 7 wgts. This was especially true in the lower end priced rods. There were few exceptions such as the Eagle Claws which were probably 3-4 wgt.

I second using common cents to check out your rod.
It really helped me with an unmarked graphite blank!
