Thread: Dubbing polypropylene?

  1. #1

    Default Dubbing polypropylene?

Was sitting hear listening to Rodrigo ( classical guitar) on the computer and watching my little world freeze up all around me (Awww) while attempting to tie a few flies (can't sing & wont dance so I may as well tie flies ) and realized that I am having a heck of a time dubbing the poly . Since I know that I am doing this wrong,(cant be right and have this much trouble) and this has more than likely been discussed before, can somone point me to where the thread is.
    Thanks

    Perch,

Very sorry to hear that your world is freezing up and your dubbing isn't working for you. I've used poly dubbing for years and find it reasonably easy to work with. I don't know if this hint will help you but it did wonders for me. When you roll the dubbing on the thread and I quote the advice exactly, "pinch the living snot out it as you roll." Roll in one direction only and pinch it as hard as you can. It works for me. Hope that helps! Good choice of music! 8T
