    Default Para Post ?

I came across a sample of a very crinkled poly fiber that is super for posts. I was told it's called Para Post but I can't find it in any of my catalogs. To me the fibers seem a little more stiff than Z-lon or Antron which would suggest that it would be less prone to mat down. Can anyone comment or suggest a source ?

You can find alot of places that carry it by doing a GOOGLE search and typing in the search box "Parapost fly tying material".

    Heres one place

I get mine from Feathercraft... I believe it is page 85 or 90 on their on line catalog.

    Ray,
    Read this first:

I have found it (John Mundinger suggested it to me. Thank you, John) better than Para-Post.

    Hi Ray,

I carry it in my shop as do a lot of other shops. It is a product of Hareline Dubbin, comes in about 8 colours and is treated with wated shed.

It is the only thing that i use for posts on my parachute flies.

    Regards,

I also have this material and was wondering if anyone has used it as wings on their spinners?
I am thinking about giving it a try.
