I have changed the section on David Webster's Salmon Flies on my site. All the recipes he gives are there and all the pictures. These were the type of salmon flies fished on the Clyde and Tweed before the use of exotic hackles introduced for the tourists from the south.
Webster was a professional fisherman who fished for the market and would have stuck to the old tried and true flies tied with local materials. No exotic seal's fur for him.
