Default Crab patterns for S. Cal?

Are there some good Southern California crab patterns in the archives that I should go to?
    Thank you all.

In the archives are patterns for a Velcro Crab, and the Merkin (Del Brown's Permit Crab). Both can be effective in the bays and work better if a hotspot of orange is included in the tie.

Sand Crabs (Mole Crabs) are a major food source for surf species. If you google 'sand crab fly' or 'mole crab fly' you will find a number of pattern recipies.
