    Default Shopping Experience Feather Craft????

    Hey Folks,

I was looking over Feather Craft's web site last night and found that they had number of items I haven't been able to locate from other sources. I was particularly impressed with their large selection of Daiichi hooks (including the "Big Eye") and just about every type of dubbing ever made. I'm thinking of placing a fairly large Christmas (oops, my bad!) a non-denominational, winter-festival order.

What sort of experiences have you had with Feather Craft? Quick service? Materials in stock? Any input would be appreciated. 8T

    Excellent service.

Never had a problem with an order.

Not too sure if your large xmas order will arrive in the amount of time left until then but I guess if you pay the extra postage (UPS 2 Day) you could get it.

Come on! Just say it! Christmas! Hanakkah! That wasn't too bad was it?

FeatherCraft is an excellent company to deal with. It's always a hoot to get Bob or Ed on the phone when you have a question. They have insite, and experience you just will find hard to get any where else. The servise is fast, and dependable.

Two thumbs and eight fingers up from me, then clap them together!

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

I've bought a number of things from them over the years and had reasonably good experience overall.

The only problem I had with them was when I bought an Abel reel a couple years ago. The drag was tightened down when it arrived (the drag is supposed to be loosened when not being used so the cork doesn't get a set in it)and the reel's handle was not smoothly lathed and finished. When I called them to request a new handle and mentioned the drag being tighten, the guy I spoke with said that tightening the drag wasn't a problem (which showed he didn't know what he was talking about) and although he promised to send a replacement handle, he never did and I ended up getting one directly from Abel.
