    Default Fly Fishing Vets

I?m not trying to promote any one group with this post, but I am curious how many fly fishers or fly fisherman ( have we settled that question yet? ) here on this site are veterans.

Maybe with a post like this some of us on the BB have crossed paths in the past, or come very close to crossing paths, and maybe have something in common that we didn?t realize. I?ll start:
    US Navy ?
    Stationed on DD882
    1967-North Atlantic
    1968?WestPac - operated w/BB62 USS New Jersy
    1969-Indian Ocean
    Transferred to DLG27
    1970-WestPac.

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
