    Default President Ford

President Gerald Ford has died at the age of 93. I pray for his family. No politics or Religion intended. Just the passing of one of our presidents. John
I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.

He was a honorable man and his wife Betty has turned many people's lives around.

Yes, he was a good man that helped heal the nation in the middle of a political distress.

There is a great Gerald R. Ford museum in Grand Rapids. He was a center on the Univ. of Michigan football team, he was good. The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers wanted him. He went on to Yale law school, was in the Navy in World War II, the rest is history. Born in Omaha, rasied in Grand Rapids, died in a California resort town. A good man for a bad time.

Talk about a man that was put into a tough spot. President Ford stated several times that he had no ambition to be either vice president or president. He took a lot of flak over President Nixon's pardon and granting amnesty to the draft dodgers but I can't think of a better man to help the nation heal. A great man and terrific human being.

I always liked that guy even before he was appointed VP. I'm sorry former President Ford is gone.

A true gentlemen.Helped our country get through a rough period. Had a bit of a problem with his golf game however. When he teed off the more common warning cry was " DUCK" instead of " FORE".
