Anyone else ever had this problem!

I've just been putting the finishing touches on three dozen Crease Flies. I tied them with pearl Loco Foam and motor oil Loco Foam. I used Sharpie permanent markers to color the foam. The results were absolutely beautiful. I wasn't sure that the motor oil foam would look very fish-like but it tinted beautifully. I blended three colors of green on the pearl foam to make it look realistic. Added some parr marks and gill slits, these flies were amazing. Then I glued on the prismatic eyes with Zap-A-Gap and got an unexpected chemical reaction. The Zap-A-Gap turned deep ruby red all around the eyes and any other place that it came into contact with the green tint. The flies are usable but not exactly what I had in mind. Anyone else run into this chemical reaction with Zap-A-Gap?
