I shipped my rod to Clyde today. He sounds as happy as a puppy with three peeters. I am sure he will post more when he gets it.

Is there anything else I need to do to uphold my end it the deal? I think I have described the process quite well along the way. It was definately an enjoyable process and gave me some wonderful experience. That was my first restoration job. My second was for a friend. I was a 1930 Hardy 11' 6wt. I updated it and fully re-built including 100 itermediate wraps. I put 60 hours into it and got $750 for the job. The rod turned out just gorgeous. I am now working on another rod for myself. I had it half way done when I got in an order of Persall's Gossamer and decided to re-do the rod. I just finished up one tip and the mid sections. Last night I made a Banty handle and started on the butt section. I am enjoying this hobby and I have this swap to thank for a lot of it. This came along when I was just starting and encouraged me to jump into it.

Thanks alot Jim and others for the help along the way.
