JC July 1st is Canada Day. Similar to your july 4th celebrations.

Each year my kids and I used to Celebrate Canada day on the 1st and then we'd go down to Moses Lake and Celebrate the 4th.

We'd go out into the sand dunes just south of Moses lake to safely shoot off fireworks. Tons of fun.
Last year we traveled 3 hours down to Grand coolie dam to celebrate the 4th. The lazer show on the front of the dam is awesome Plus they have a full hour of fireworks.

Bear742, Now I'm going to have to find some Old Calendar Orthodox friends in the states so I can have two Christmases.

Then theres our new years and the Chinese new year and the Ukranian new year etc etc etc. Whew! Life can sure be one big party if you let it. We need more fish-ins too. Hint hint nudge nudge fudge fudge say no more.

Ps. JC Canadians have forgiven the US for leaving the British sphere and by the same token we hope you guys have forgiven us for the war of 1812.
