It's all in the broth.
I'd cut the "instructions" short, ... But to do it right, (imho). Make the broth first. Gi to the butcher and find a REAL beef soup bone.
Boil it up for a couple hours, skim off the foam.
next ... brown the beef cubes, then follow the recipe.
It's 2 deg cel. this morning here and the family is lazing around. We'll be having soup for lunch.
