I still have a beloved P-38 on my key chain. One morning as we were getting ready for out American Legion breakfast, the giant opener that we used to open #10 cans of tomatoe juice failed to work. You got it, the little P-38 did the job. It really amazed some of the youngsters that morning who have never seen on. Mine is stamped, U.S. Mallin 1952. An obvious left over from the Korean War. It was in a ration box I got in 1966, at the time the food was excellent, even the little O.D. tuna tin sized peanut butter.
