I do watch in amazement as my Son and Grandson burn the candle at both ends fishing from dawn till dusk and beyond. ( You know how it goes, you just got to get in one more cast before its too dark to fish. ) All weekend long the two of them flog the waters to a froth hardly stopping to eat. I am the only one awake to drive the truck on the way home because both of them are fast asleep. A bomb under their seat wouldn't wake them. Ah to be young again with all that energy. (insert deep sigh here)
I did the same thing until I retired. In fact, I kept it up for the first couple years after retirement as well, until it finally dawned on me that I wasn't on a temporary vacation but rather a permanent one.
