Dr. Fish,

Very good and timely info. A couple of question, if I may.
I've been using the 37160 for my Klinkhamers for years as it gives me the penetration I like for the fly. The kirbed (is that right?, off set)point also helps with hook ups, a very high take to hook ratio.
The one negative has been the heavy gauge wire.
That said my questions are; are the 15BN's a lighter gauge wire than the 37160?
Is the point off set as in the 37160?
Does the size tend towards the norm or do they run like the 37160's where the 18 is more like a traditional 14?
Who in the Portland, OR. area stocks them?
I have tried three different shops and even had one ( a big name shop from the NW) order them in 14-16-18& 20's several months ago. The 14 & 16's came in, although I still haven't seem them, and the 18's and 20's never arrived. They advise they don't know why.
The addition of the 15BNX is a good one in my opinion and is the hook I would be most interested in.

Thanks for your time.

Peter
