Default New Kid on the Block

I saw this new fly in the Orvis Catalog. I am going to order them cause I think they are going to be HOT!
I can't decide on size 14 or 12, so I guess I will order both.
What do you guys and gals think?

Fly Goddess: Looks like that would be a good fly for those whitefish that abound in Utah's rivers.

That too, but in the Provo, (and I guess all rivers) Sow bugs are their main everyday diet and these look chewy. I am excited to try them.

Looks like a good one. On a recent trip to Wyoming to fish the snake I learned that the Orvis flies are tied overseas and that kind of scared me. Not sure if that information was accurate (but it was an Orvis guide that told me) and I am no trying to sound like I am out to save the world, but the idea of sweat shop fly tying makes me uncomfortable. Other than that, looks like a great pattern.

I don't think they carry them in #14.
look simple enough that an untrained ape could prolly tie some.

I don't want to get into an export discussion, but I was thinking about this this morning. What about our Computer, most cars, cameras, micro waves, TV, etc..
I understand the sweat shop thing and I am sure it could be very much a possibility. Something I must admitt I don't think about when buying flies, cause lets be honest, the majority do come from China or Korea (Asian).
We did it to ourself and there is NO way we can live without import.
Look at our country, the Mexican's are the ones in my opinion in the sweat shop, cause they will take any job regardless of pay. That too we did to ourself.
GOD BLESS AMERICA for sure. ALWAYS!
Sorry, didn't mean to get POLITICAL and I appologize.

I'm almost certain I've seen this pattern someplace
for latex. CRS is working overtime. Warm regards,

Flygodess, I couldn't agree with you more, we couldn't live without imports. However, my only concern would be that this is piece work.

But, that is another topic all together. I think they are probably tied with larva lace or some of that sheeting used to tie scud backs. At least that is what it look like to me.
