Thread: REEL Confused

Type three is not an inferior process at all. I'm sorry I came across like that. Type three is the best finish on the market today bar none. Look at the Abels and Tibors others suggested. My purpose is to make people aware of the major factors affecting why high end reels cost as much as they do. Are they worth it? Some say yes some say no. I will tell you this. If you purchase a reel with Type 3 Hard Anodizing plan on owning it for life. All it would need is minimal care.
Type two is not inferior either. Its just not quite as hard nor as pretty as the type three. Still with proper care these reels would last for life.

I just wanted everyone to know that I purchased a Teton Tioga Magnum. It had been fished twice, and I got it at a GREAT price. I will eventually get an extra spool. Thanks for all of your help!!!!!!!!!!!
