Default Five flys according to Lefty Kreh????

I was at a Lefty Kreh weekend recently.....absolutely wonderful. Go to see him if you ever get the chance. While I was there Lefty brought up the idea of five standard universal patterns. He started naming them and then couldn't remember the last two

    HE said:
    1. Wooly Bugger
    2. Greenie Weenie
    3. Griffith's Gnat
    4.
    5.

Anybody know what the other two are? Just curious....

Yeah I would say an Elk hair would be up there.

If I had to guess I would say one would be a Pheasant Tail nymph and the other would be an ant pattern.

    Anybody know???

If he was talking trout, some of his writings include the Humpy and Parachute Adams.

For other species, the Lefty's Bug, Lefty's Deceiver, and Clouser Minnow are favorites.

I wouldn't have thought Green Weenie would be on the list (even though I always have a few in the nymph box!) but if I were to guess what else would be essential then I'd want to have an Adams as well.
