    Default Missing 'cane rod...

Thought i'd throw this up here to get the ball rolling. I don't want to say at this point it was stolen...however.

The rod was shipped via the USPS and was delivered to the maker...unfortunately with out the contents (i.e rod, tube ect). The photos of the packaging shows evidence that it was delibratly opened.

The rod was being sent back for a new tip. It was insured and the claims process has just started.

It is a 6'6 3wt Oyter rod with a splintered tip it also has the initials "rwtII" engraved on the butt section. I am currently working with the maker in this process.

If you see this rod for sale...or are contacted to repair ect...please drop me a note. I'd like to get it back!

    Thanks...

A nice ending to an otherwise sad affair. Fortune shines on you today.
