Thread: Looking for Two patterns

    Default Looking for Two patterns

    Hi

I know these are pretty common patterns and must be available in lots of places, but I can't find them in any of my books.

-Gertie Bug - similar to a wolly worm?
-The usual - both dry and nymph?

A friend of mine requested that I tie some for him, any help / instructions / pictures greatly appreciated.

I can't say I'm familiar with the Gertie Bug. Are you sure you don't mean Girdle Bug, a pattern with a chenille body and rubber legs/tails?

Here is one link for [url=http://shop.flyfishing.about.com/fly_archive/details/1473.htm:050ea]The Usual[/url:050ea].
