Hey- that's built down by me. Neat.
And I have an old windsurfer board under the house- one of the original BIG ones. HMMMM- all I need do is add the seat/icechest and get a long paddle.
Let me do some thinking here
That might be perfect for pond fishing in the midwest. How much does one weigh? JGW
Crafat is 85 lbs. the seat an additional 40. Thats alot to lug from place to place.

I like it,but the weight rating is to low.Only 300 lbs. That is not much especialy if you catch some wake or a little wave action!

You guys brought up what looks to me, also, to be two weaknesses of that craft: weight and capacity.
I bet that it will be more popular with people who just leave it next to a dock on small lakes and backwaters.
Or not.

I agree, Diane. I'll stick with my cedar strip canoe. Weighs just under 50 lbs and is almost 20 years old now. Didn't realize what a wonderful bargain I was making when I built the thing. JGW
