Thread: Oil Creek?

    Default Oil Creek?

Any of you PA guys fished the delayed harvest section of Oil Creek yet? I'd usually have been up a few times by now but a couple streams close to home are still producing.

I had planned to fish there today but Mike, the fly shop owner said there weren't any bugs coming off yet. The water is only 50 degrees. I am planning to go to Neshannock in the morning. Was up there Sat. and did well. I used the Zebra Midge and caught 16. The Neshannock is only 2 hours and 3 to Oil. The end of this week should be great with this warm weather the bugs should be out.
Good luck, if you go let me know how you did.
