    Yo Les,
So now you have the "intelligence of a bird"???
Think about it. "Les is now as smart as a bird" ?

Sure are , $10,000 fine for killing one. You can't even keep a dead one if you find it.

I have killed plenty of loons tho. ( Its just a joke folks, our dollar is called a loon )

Don't mean to brag, but I can outfish a Heron. Did it before...it was hoot. Found a nice spot just to the side of a riffle. The heron was about 15-20 yrds below me. It was like 15:1. Heheheheheee.....
Then again I was catching and releasing....

Too bad there was a sign that said do not feed the wildlife......I would have starved.
    Regards,

    Jose

Those herons are fish eaters for sure, but they eat other things. I saw one down at the coast standing in some scrub brush, then suddenly plucked something off the ground. It ate a mouse! Down the hatch. I guess the fishing was off that day.
