We have a lake here that use to house beautiful Bows. They shared the water with Large Mouth. A shallow but fair sized lake with a depth of maybe 20' max. A lot of veggitation so the fish are healthy. A few years back they introduced KAMLOOP to the water (more for harvesting).
Things were great except the usual idiot on a wave runner or waterskiier.
Then someone thought it would be cool to add PERCH to the water.
Well, that plus one year of extreme temps has ruined this lake. The Kamloop are nowhere to be found, rainbow are spotty. Bass, Bluegill and LOTS OF PERCH!
Don't go there anymore, plus the new boat dock and sand beaches just make it a water sport lake instead of trophy waters anymore.
