16-18 inch 'bows - stocked lake in local provincial park ......... caught on a olive BH wooly bugger that had hackle and tail trimmed to more closely resemble a scud (and bent the hook a tad too). Olive BHWB was working ok - but after trim-bend job - worked even better. One fellow, I C&R'd a few times - kept lying in wait in the cabbage - same spot. A cold front moved in around 4pm and the fish shut off like a 220A breaker tripping (could almost hear it too). Wanted to break out the 4wt and go with dries in the evening, but the winds picked up around 40+mph ...... ah well.

Well, boys are itching to get at them again ........... I guess I should break down and spoil them - do as they whine ................. on a side note ....... this could get hard on the pocket book if they take up the obsession ........... [/img]
