I am looking for "how too's" on building tube flies for Steelhead. Any suggestions would help.
I have made an "arrangement" with the Devil that I may regret

Harry first go to Google type in 'Tube Flies" you will get sites like ak fly fishers that is in Alaska (pick fly of the month),Nordic Way Tube Flies and another, Steelhead Tube Flies. I use hollow Q Tips for tubes and the holder is a short section of a bicycle spoke. I use the nut end cut (with a file -- hard steel) to a two inch length, put it in my vise, slid on the tube and tighten the nut to hold the tube from turning while tying. Tubes can also be found in model air plane stores in brass allum and plastic. The blue Q tips are the only hollow ones. BILL
Two weeks from now we will have a full instructional on tube flies - one which is very special by Faruk Ekich, the Polar Shrimp.

Harry,
Lanny Waller recently did a presentation for our club and he really is going to tubes. Might give him a shout in Novato.
I have seen a soft-bound book about them in the shop in Rhonert park. Want us to check into it?
