What's with Line color

While reading an article about the new WF lines, I noticed the different colors of orange, yellow, and green. Could somebody tell me the significance of color and the effects upon trout? If there is a difference, then what would be the ideal color?

----------------I like the willow color for most of my fishing drywet I like clear for full sinking lines and olivefishing nymphs. I keep my lines cleaned on a regular bases and dressed with muslin? when fishing wets or nymphs.
