To do something different, list your favorite quotes. There can be "Yogi'isms (I'm sure RW will like that) and they don't necessarily need to be fly fishing related. If possible, list who is quoted. I have several and will list mine later as this thread (hopefully) progresses.

"Nothing strengthens an opinion like ignorance" unknown

"The Lord must surely love stupid people because he made so many of them, however, he never intended for any of them to work with me." Dr. M.E. Emsminger (sp?), father of modern animal science.

"They pay you to do that?" My 88 yr. old uncle, used like "Here's your sign".

"When I saw her I knew he hadn't met her in Sunday school", my uncle again.

    This is fun,

Cheap is expensive - old Dutch adage.

The only time a whale can be harpooned is when he's spouting off - another old Dutch adage.

When a person asks for critiques, they actually want praise - a third old Dutch adage.

I'll kick your butt (not the actual word of course) so high, you'll have to get a haircut to poop (also not the actual word).
Author - my mean vile Stepfather.

This is going to be a long thread
