    Default white flipflops

Anyone have stores stocked with white flipflops. Went shopping tonight for some and came up completely empty. I need them for a swap. If you can find them, e-mail me and we can work a deal. Flies. Cash. Whatever. Thanks. JGW

What kind of flip flops are you getting if you swap the white ones to people? How many flip flops does each swapper get, will you put a toe-tag on the flip slops when you send them out, and will you get the swapmeister another pair of red flip flops for him or her?

Riverdancer --the man is looking for white flip flops I asume to be used in tying flies for a fly swap. Jim Hatch should have a good idea--I have found them at walmart but not the thicker models. BILL

    White43,

My wife, VEE, just happens to have a couple dozen pairs of size 11 white flip flops. Along with tons of other foam for making dremel bugs. I'll have her drop you an e-mail.

    Hey JGW,

I feel your pain buddy. The Walmart sold out of them
over a month ago here.*G* I was recoving from knee
surgury and didn't get there in time. I have only
one pair left and I gotta hang on to them. You might
try the Goodwill Stores. I scored well there last
fall when Target transferred their stock to them.
Or as Ron says, Ms Vicky might have a spare set.*G*
    Warm regards, Jim

Thanks, REE. If VEE is willing just give me the ransom. My snail is Box 672, Clara City, MN, 56222. It's posted in the swap board most of the time anyway. Thanks a million (well, I don't need them THAT bad but it sounds cool). By the way, Jim, I think things are figured out. I've had the most frustrating time with this Dremel stuff, and finally went to JoAnn's Fabrics determined to find the perfect needle. I had about seven different varieties of needles in hand when one of the workers stopped to ask what I was making. "Dremel bugs," I said. She looked over the packages and said, "This one is what you need." Stunned, I in turn asked, "So, do you make them, too?" "Nah," she said, "just simple physics. What you want is long and strong." I let it go at that, and incredibly, her advise was right on. It's been a breeze ever since and once again I'm enjoying life!!!!! JGW

    White43,

A pair of size 11 white flip flops (minus the toe strap thingies) will be headed your way on Tuesday (dang holidays).

My VEE, always on the alert for deals, saw white flip flops on sale during the spring for $1.50 a pair. Instead of buying those that fit, she bought all the size 11's they had. More foam in an 11 than a 7. Caused quite a stir at the checkout stand.

Wait! Wait! You didn't say what kind of needles you found that work! Who makes them? What are they called? Please don't leave us hanging!

    Default Flip Flops

Hi White43; I saw a white flip flop floating down stream in the Kakahu Stream a while back. Did you lose one when you were last there? Jax
