Minute of silence for Al

In case you missed it, there will be a minute of silence at 10:00 mountain standard time on this Monday for Al Campbell. That's when his funeral starts.

If you are into praying, this would be a good time for it. If not, no problem. Just spend a minute reflecting on what a marvelous man he was, how grateful you are for his help to you, and how much you hope his family and closest friends can get through this all OK.

I'm sure Al can see how much we all appreciated his help, even if it was just learning to tie an EZ Nymph, or just for a quick pointer.

His instruction and impact on the sport of fly fishing through this site will live on for generations to come.

I will be tying "his" patterns for the rest of my life, since his basic tying program here on FAOL was my first.
