Two great choices for the beginning of the season; Preventing rod breakage and Landing the Big One. I, for one, learned alot, particularly about the nuances of moving water and landing fish without beaking rod or tippet. Having only recently taken my fly angling out of stillwaters and into rivers, I sorely needed the tips. I bet that you saved alot of rods, fish and aggravation with the timely and well presented info. One thing about this sport that never ceases to amaze me is how you can get so far along in the sport, and be missing some very serious basics. I bet a few veteran anglers heeded the advice and appreciated the reminders, too. Thanks, Jim
