Not sure if this qualifies or not but it's a dedicated fly tying message board:

I'll try this one with a soft hackle.
Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts and findings. I think I will get one of each and try them out.
Here's a question for those of you that use the Ekich bobbin. Which tube type is better and why? I'm thinking of getting one but not sure which type to get. I tie mostly with finer threads.
Thanks.
Got some great looking flies today. Great job well done guys.
They were sent out standard first class. The same as last time.
Adam: You haven't gotten mine yet? They were sent out at least 3 weeks ago.
Makes some nice actioned streamers
Thanks Jim that'll explain the empty searches.
Has anyone ever seen this book -Soft-Hackled Nymphs by Allen McGee?
I've done searches but came up empty. Is it possible there was a delay or the book was cancelled?
Mine are done and will be in the mail by the end of the week.
I'll be doing some woven stones.
I got mine today and kudos to all participants. Really great looking flies. Well done guys.
Count me in. TBA
I think I'll go in on this one. Trout is my choice
Adam try this email address :

You could try a heat activated powder paint. I have used this on jig heads in the past and they stood up well. I used to use a product called Herbie's magic Dust but that was a few years back now.
I came across a new forum dedicated to just flytying

Mine are on their way.
Adam : I'm in Calgary,AB. I plan on sending you a money order for shipping being our postage doesn't work for returning from the US.
Adam any idea of postage to Canada? Sorry I haven't been able to post lately...been away at work in a remote area.
I'll do up some evil weevils; a hot fly in these parts.
Blaino , you got my curiousity with a braided prince. Looking forward to seeing that one

I use a 13 watt and I find that its close to perfect and it doesn't generate much heat.
I'm in if you allow from Canada.
