I have a FLi 8 wt. I use for reds. BUT... I recently had an opportunity to cast the Launch series, which is their entry level rod for $199, and found it casts better than the FLi.

I have two Orvis mid-arbor reels, one on my 6 wt. and one on my 8 wt. (saltwater). The disc drag will stop a small Volkswagen. Great reels for the price. I'm completely satisified.

I have to agree with John. I had a Rocky Mountain Reel. Purchase a Ross Flystart or the TFO Prizm for that same $50. They'll be new and twice the reel.
