yep my tfo 5 weight is great in every situation. I use it for pike fishing,bass fishing and even fishing in trout creeks.Very versatile indeed. Great value also

I find anything that is yellow with rubber legs work very well for bluegill. The bully fly is amazing for bull gills

All parts that you can buy is good, but a good piece of polar bear doesnt have any broken tips and the dye is evenly distributed

I use beadheads on 100% of my flies. I like glass ones because they are inexpensive, and i also use brass.Cant afford tungsten lol. I find that it makes the fly alot more effective with a beadhead...

I like substituting polar bear for bucktail. I have made polar mickey finns, clouser minnows and decievers. They outfished bucktail 2-1.

a rock bass would get my vote as the absolute worst eating fish!
I remeber my first fish on my 8 weight fly rod very well. I was fishing at my cottage and caught a 7 inch rock bass-that hooked me for life.
